TDSHS Mold Link  Texas became the first state to regulate and license mold activity. The Department of State Health Services (DSHS) site contains all of the pertinent regulations, and some basic information for homeowners and property managers.

EPA Mold Link  The EPA offers good basic information regarding mold in your home and in schools. Several tools and pmphlets are available for download from this site, and others can be requested by mail free of charge.

OSHA Mold Link  OSHA is currently evaluating the effects of mold and how workers are affected. Explore this page to read about the most current OSHA policies regarding mold and fungi exposure.

Texas Department of State Health Services  The DSHS is the regulatory agency for asbestos in Texas, and has the added responsibility of enforcing EPA regulations. This site is a good starting point for information on Texas-specific regulations. Several downloads are available including the entire text of the DSHS regulations, and several forms required for license application or demolition/renovation permits.

US Environmental Protection Agency  This link to the EPA's asbestos home page provides direct links to much of the EPA's published information on asbestos. Links are provided to specific topics to reduce search time.

Occupational Saftey & Health Administration (OSHA)  A wealth of links and information about asbestos from current regulations to mineral structure of asbestos. Includes links to other government and non-government sites.

Office of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) .pdf  These regulations were implemented under Title X, with the intention of reducing the prevalence of child lead poisoning in the United States.

EPA Storm Water Link  The EPA is the national regulatory agency that enforces the Clean Water Act. This link provides information, forms and the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Permit.

TCEQ Storm Water Link  The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) is the regulatory agency granted authority by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to monitor storm water discharges and pollution prevention. This link directs you to all water related subjects, important forms such as the Notice of Intent, Construction Site Notice and the Texas Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (TPDES) Permit.

NCTCOG Storm Water Link  The North Central Texas Council of Government (NCTCOG) has created a storm water regulation program that most North Texas municipalities have adopted. This link gives you information regarding BMP specs, permits, education events and other important information as it pertains to North Texas storm water.

Houston Area Storm Water Link  This site is provided by City of Houston, Harris County, Texas Department of Transportation and the Harris County Flood Plain District. The information provided by this site is specific to the Harris County/Houston area and includes there specifications for Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans, Best Management Practices and requirements for both permanent and temporary erosion control devices.

CPESC Storm Water Link  CPESC is a recognized specialist in soil erosion and sediment control. CPESCs have educational training, demonstrated expertise, experience in controlling erosion and sedimentation, and meet certification standards.

Environmental Protection Agency-All Appropriate Inquiries  Approved by Congress November 1, 2005, this regulation establishes specific regulatory requirements and standards for conducting All Appropriate Inquiries into the previous ownership and uses of a property for the purposes of meeting the all Appropriate inquiries provisions necessary to qualify for certain landowner liability protections under CERCLA.  The regulation went into effect November 1, 2006.
